To Watch: Gossip Girl

Chloe and I have made a slow start at making our way through our To Watch list. Chloe, Rosie and I started watching Gossip Girl early on in 2017 and I finally finished watching it this month. Rosie had already finished and Chloe is still near the start of the seasons.

GG was such an easy watch for me. Although, I think I would have like to have seen more of Eric and Jenny in the last couple of seasons. During the last episode, we saw the cast share their views and opinions on the airing of the show, and I couldn't believe that the Ed Westwick, who plays Chuck Bass, is actually English!

The ending of the last episode: FINALLY! Not 'finally' as in it's all over. But Chuck and Blair finally got married and had a little boy. And Serena and Dan were finally settled together. Nate and The NY Spectator were finally successful.

I would have preferred some more clarity at the end though. Just confirmation that Lily and William were back together, who Rufus was with? What happened to Lola, Ivy, Vanessa and Georgina? Did Carol get out of prison? Did Sage and Nate stay together?

Moving onto the GG reveal. Dan Humphrey?! I was half expecting Gossip Girl to Nelly Yuki or one of the other minions, purely based on how Blair treated them during high school as well as in life after education. But Dan Humphrey! Although it should have been fairly obvious, considering how much he loved writing. I feel that Jenny should have come back when GG was revealed, as she had known for years.

Overall, I enjoyed Gossip Girl. Now I have to find something else to watch.
