Five weekly positives #17
I'm beginning to make a bad habit of this, forgot petting to actually pres 'publish' on these posts. Because of this, I've decided to change it to 'Monthly round ups' whereby I post the about my favourite parts of the month. The post shall come out at the end of each month.
This week, I intend to make this my last of the weekly positives. So on with this weeks positives!
1. On Monday, Tasmin, Rosie and I went to Chloe's house where we watched 'Tammy'. Now, I feel I should add that movies weren't the main priority for that get-together - we surprised Tasmin with an early leaving present, being a day trip to Jersey next month, before she leaves the island for University. She was so surprised and didn't suspect it in the slightest! I'm so glad that Rosie didn't ruin the surprise either as she has a terrible habit of doing so!
2. Today, I finished my last set shift for my part time job. I'm still staying on with Kings and Marina but only for cover as and when it is required rather than having set hours each week. I finally get to have a full weekend, at the same time as everyone else - something I've not experienced since early June 2014!
3. My work had a 'Confrense Day' on Friday. The whole company - both the Guernsey office and the Jersey office - had a 'day off' as such and we all went to the Peninsula Hotel for presentations in the morning followed by an afternoon full of drinking, a BBQ, bounced castles and lots more games! It was so much fun and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! You're never too old for a bouncy castle!
4. This week has felt so much like summer! You know when you spend so much time out and about with friends during the summer? That has literally been my week! Although I enjoyed it, I'm certainly in need of a decent night sleep and proper lie in.
5. I went all week without any chocolate and finally managed to tick it off my 2015 list. The post is due up beginning of next week.
So I shall be back with a new version of this post at the end of the month.
Charlotte.
