101 in 1001: Redesign my blog
And welcome to my new blog design!
So here we are, I've done it! Like, I've FINALLY gotten around finalising the final touches and launched the design. And, if I do say so myself, I'm pretty darn happy with it.
While it's still not to the high standard of a lot blogs out there, its to a much better standard than previously. Who knows, one day I might decided to redesign again and go further to improve the look of my blog.
The first thing at the top of my list was to have the header ready. Chloe was lovely enough to help me out with this. The amount of times I changed my mind on the photo was a little petty but we got there in the end. While the photo originally wasn't my first pick of the mix, the design Chloe used took top preference. It's not that I didn't like the other choice - I intend to use that one the next time I plan on sprucing things up around here.
I also changed my about page. Rather than rewriting it out here, I thought I'd let you take a whiz over and have a read for yourself.
I'm a lot happier with the new look on my blog. It doesn't feel quite as plain and simple as it did. With a little luck, I may every get some inspiration to blog more regularly.
