101 in 1001: Visit Flamingo Park, Miami
When I added Flamingo Park to my 101 in 1001 list, I was expecting it to be slightly different to how it was. I thought it would be sort of similar to a water park but on a smaller scale and with a park and tennis court for other activities. However it appear to be your average sports and leisure centre.
James and I headed to Flamingo Park after our trip to South Beach. We strolled there very slowly after lunch and took a lap around (what we assumed was the whole perimeter) of the park and took some photos. The Park was fairly quiet, perhaps it was just the day of time and day of the week we visited, although it had quite a relaxed feel to it.
