Best Bits: November '15

Can you believe it? The end of November. Already! Wow... This time last month, I was walking along Bournemouth beach without a hoodie and now I can't leave the house within it my winter boots, thick coat, scarf and jumper without losing feeling in my hands! Are you glad I didn't start off by bringing up anything Christmas? Now on to the best bits of November!

I had a lovely long weekend visiting Tasmin in the UK at the beginning of the month. The weather was super good which is always an advantage, especially in the UK where the weather is always like a lucky dip - you never know what you'll get! I spent far too much money, as you do on holiday, and had ice cream for breakfast. Sprinkles is amazing!

I donated a shoebox to the Christmas Shoebox Appeal. It felt good to do it, I must admit. I'll be doing it again next year as well, but with my Gran this time around. Full post here.

Christmas Party. My work had their Christmas Party on Friday just gone. The theme was black and gold/James Bond. I had planned on getting a blue dress but by the time I came to order it, it was no longer in my size. I suppose it isn't a bad thing as, despite it being from the petite range and me being no taller than 5ft, it still wouldn't have fitted. #ShortPeopleProblems when you're too short to fit in short people clothing. Luckily I managed to find a lovely little dress in Debenhams at the beginning of the month.

Sj and I have been out running in aid of preparing for the Santa Fun Run next month. It is on Sunday 13th so we don't have much longer. I have never done a run like this before - to be honest, road running is completely new to me. All I can say is thank god I booked the Monday after the fun run off of work!

Tom and I met up for drinks with some of my friends and some of his friends mid month. It was nice to meet his friends and for him to finally meet mine. I must say, I was a little apprehensive about the evening before hand but it actually went pretty smoothly.

Dinner dates with friends. I love dinner dates with anyone who will join me, no matter what the reason for our meal outings is. Especially the ones that are planned sort of last minute. Sj and I went to Crabby Jacks one day after s run which was a lovely way to refuel. Chloe, Rosie and I have been for both lunch and dinner a fair bit as well, although we do tend to meet on Tuesday's for lunch most weeks.

Tio has joined me for a quite a few bed time and morning cuddles in bed recently which has been lovely! He's been snuggling right into me, laying on me and purring his head off for ages! It's been the cutest. He's also been finding some new places to be incredibly nosey such as out of my bedroom window and on top of the shed.

I booked a week off of work this month. Purely to do absolutely nothing but sleep on, stay in my pyjamas for hours, sit on the sofa binge watching TV shows and movies and go to the gym. I can safely say I only took three trips to the gym, and one trip was to work so that one doesn't really count. But yes, it was super to have some time off to gain weight through boredom eating relax.

I hope you enjoy the last month of 2015 without too much stress that comes with Christmas.

Charlotte.
