60 Things To Do In 2015: Make a YouTube video
As soon as 'Make a YouTube video' made it to '60 Things To Do In 2015', I just knew I had to document all of what I archived from the list during the year.
I had originally aimed for 100 things to do this year but I knew that was far too adventurous and unarchievable for me - even 60 proved to be too much. However, I did complete 40 of 60. That's two thirds of what I set out to do. I'll admit, the ones I expected to fail in doing are the ones I actually completed. For instance, I didn't think I'd actually get around to going to a zoo seeing as Guernsey doesn't have the capacity for its own, let alone feeding a giraffe or trying archery.
There are ones that I have surprised myself by not doing, such as getting a tattoo. I've wanted one for so many years now but a couple of months ago that changed. All I can think about is if I were to get fat or pregnant, if I were to lose weight then the tattoo would stretch and it wouldn't look how it's meant too. And when I get old, my wrinkles will change the appearance of the tattoo. For me, I'd feel disappointed with the tattoo if it changed due to whatever reason and that is why I changed my mind. Plus, I don't take particularly well to pain!
As for cliff jumping, Sj is the only person who would do this with me. Trying to find a day where it was hot and sunny when neither were working or had others plans at the time of high tide proved to be rather difficult, which was why this slipped our schedule. And let's be honest, this is one that should only be done during the summer - doing it during the winter is just a recipe for disaster with the strong winds, high tides and rough waters.
I'd like to point out the ones I did actually start but never actually finished. I started the insanity DVD and made it through a month. Yes, a month. You're supposed to do six days a week for two months. And then I realised I should have started it a month earlier as I was off on holiday so had to stop half way through. There was also swim in the sea everyday for a week. I did four of seven days before the weather took a turn for the worst. I didn't want to get sick... There were many a time where I began a Disney Movie Marathon with the girls but we'd ended up only watching the one before moving onto something else or chatting over the top.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings and what some may consider to be 'excuses', here's the link to my YouTube video, '60 Things To Do In 2015: Year in Review'.
