Progress Report #3
Remember way back in February when I shared this post? Yeah, my original intention of sharing one progress update every month didn't exactly work out... Here I am, 9 months later and only on update number 3. Perhaps I should aim to share one update every quarter?
Since my second 'progress report', I feel so much more like my old happy self again! I always loved reading other blogs and more so recently I seem to be back in the habit of looking through my Bloglovin' feed on a more regular basis. I find myself checking it every few days and I now allocate some time on a Saturday to properly read other blogs and catch up on the content for mine.
I ordered a recipe book off of Amazon a little while ago and picked out some cake and biscuit recipes to try. While I've only tried two sweet recipes so far from the book, I've also picked out some recipes to try out for dinner time. All I need to do is choose a few that I want to try first and pick up the ingredients in my next weekly shop. With the autumn soon changing to winter, now is the perfect time to try some of the soups and other meals that are bond to keep me warm during the upcoming colder months. As with my Treats to try list, I aim to share a recipe post after trying each of the new recipes I'll be testing from my Eat Like A Gilmore cookbook.
More so recently, when meeting up with my friends, we've been doing more of the things we did together before I felt myself slipping into a negative state of mind. For instance, when I wasn't quite myself, we would always be ordering take away's and watching shows on Netflix for hours on end. Now, I find we also chat our evening's away as well as enjoying food.
Chloe, Rosie and I have been playing Mario Kart again recently which always ends in the three of us laughing at each other and swearing ever so much! Sj and I have been going for more drives while we chat and play some old songs, which, of course, ends in us singing along at the top of our lungs. James and I are looking at more activities we can do together rather than just watching TV every evening. So far, tennis is a definite no after James injured his knee and badminton is also a no for the time being. Any suggestions on sports or any other fun activity we can do together would be greatly appreciated!

With regards to settling into a daily routine, I'm still not there yet. I think that will remain the case for a while. For now, I'm definitely back on the right track.
I feel that's all I have left to share for now. I feel much happier currently than I was earlier this year. I think living with a family member again has helped, especially in the sense that I always have company in the evenings.
Charlotte.
