101 in 1001: Participate in Blogmas (Day 25)

On the twenty fifth day of Blogmas...

And we're here! ITS CHRISTMAAAAAAAAASSSS!!! Get the reference to that song?

Merry Christmas!

Two Christmas trees, the families presents and Rudolf

Are you as surprised as I am that I managed a whole 24 consecutive days of blogging? Technically, it's been 26 days in a row as I shared my November Best Bits with you all at the very end of last month and we're currently here today. A Christmas miracle, haha. That's another thing ticked off my 101 in 1001.

I'll admit, nearing the end of Blogmas I found I struggled a little with post ideas. Nonetheless, I still just about managed the lot. For the last week or so I found I had a few ideas but wasn't sure when to post which idea so found myself with my nose in a notepad planning the last week. In doing so, I found I wasn't panicking that I wasn't going to complete Blogmas.

Remember back when I posted my 60 Things To Do In 2015 and I did my week without chocolate? Yeah, that week took me three attempts as I kept craving chocolate! I was fully expecting my participation in Blogmas to go along the same route. Yet here we are! I've shared this post with you in my first attempt (ever) at Blogmas. I mean, yes, there were a few days where my posts went up a bit late in the day but I still got them up and done on their specific days!

I hope you all have a lovely day, celebrating however you may choose and are blessed with lovely company, food and gifts. Today, Josh and I have just arrived at my mum and stepdads for a Christmas roast and then we're heading off to my Gran's to see the rest of my mums side. Josh popped into see his side yesterday I went off to see my stepdads side. Typical that both shindigs were arranged for the same time and date!

Living away from home has made me appreciate this time of year that so much more! It's made me love Christmas again and it's brought back my love for old traditions. When I was younger, my auntie and uncle would take my cousins and I out for a drive to look at the Christmas lights people had put out in the gardens. It's been years since the five of us went out to see the lights so this year, I specifically went out a couple of times to see the lights and there are some lovely gardens and houses with lots of lights.
