Blogmas, day 23
On the twenty third day of Blogmas...
There are a couple of places in the world I'd love to visit over the Christmas period. British weather during the winter is just miserable so having a proper season over the festive period would be brilliant as you'd be able to better plan your day around the weather outside!
Here are the places that intrigue me the most over Christmas;
Disney! I don't care if it's Paris or Florida! Heck, I'd even go to both! I mean, you've got to experience both in your lifetime. I've been to Disneyland Paris twice but never Disneyworld Florida so for me, right now Florida would come top out of the two.
New York. I would love to visit New York at every moment of the year! I could quite easily book a one year trip to New York alone and just explore the city in all of its glory and see what it's like during every season. But can you imagine having the snowy Christmas?! I've only ever had one snowy Christmas and that was when I visited Austria a good 5 or 6 years ago. Being able to do your Christmas shopping in the Big Apple would be an experience in itself!
Australia. My mum and I have always said we would like at least one sunny Christmas in our lifetime. That has gotten that so much easier now that my stepdads mum was born down under. Now it's just to get around to booking it one year!
Russia. I am fully aware of how cold it gets out in Russia but I would love to see the beautiful architecture in contrast with the snow. For me, a Christmas in Russia would be all about the photo opportunities. And, of course, to experience Christmas in a completely different culture.
Germany. German Christmas Markets are pretty special in their own right. Can you imagine the extremity of actually being in Germany over Christmas and being surrounded by all things food and festivities?!
A cruise. To be honest, I don't really mind at this moment in time where the cruise ship will be taking me, I would just like to experience Christmas in a big ship. See how the staff hold up for spending their Christmas Day serving the public instead of celebrating the occasion with their own families. I've never been on a cruise before but it's something I'd definitely love to do one year.
Of course, there are more places in the world that I would love to visit and explore but for now, these are the places I'd love to see at Christmas time.
Charlotte.
