Blogmas, day 24
On the twenty fourth day of Blogmas...
It's Christmas Eve! Santa is coming to town tonight!
Traditionally, in my younger years, my auntie and uncle used to take my cousins and I for a drive to see the houses decorated with Christmas lights. The three of us loves it. Unfortunately, we haven't done that in years!
To make up for it, Sj joined me for a bit of Christmas light hunt. We drove past some of my favourite displays and a few of hers. Maybe next year, we'll go a little more prepared; we'll plan our route a little better. The local radio station have done a 'light up Guernsey' competition and provided a map of where to find the participating properties. We tried following the map as we were passing but ended up getting ourselves lost and confused so ended just aimlessly driving.
There were some lovely displays and hopefull we'll make ourselves a new Christmas tradition.
