Blogmas, day six

On the sixth day of Blogmas...

Running on from yesterday's theme of 'for him', today I thought I'd do 'for her' instead. The female mind works well at dropping regular hints at the things we want but if you seem to always be missing out on them (whether that be by choice), here are a few ideas to get you going.

Sanctuary Shower Sets. I've received these a couple of Christmases in a row and they just last me ages! They are the perfect size to put in my toiletries bag for the gym and even with going roughly 5 times every week, they still last a good few months each! And they smell so good!

Soap and Glory. As with Sanctuary, this brand is a well known product to make it pretty big as a festive gift for many.

Lush bath products. Can we just talk about the smell of the shops themselves? You can smell the shop from around the corner! Not that it's necessarily a bad thing... While their bath bombs are near impossible to resist, think about your receiver. If you only have a shower at home rather than a bath or bath and shower combo, a bath bomb may not be the most logical option.

Perfume. I love me a good bottle of perfume. However, I've only ever bought myself one bottle. 'Rise' by BeyoncĂ© for £19.99 from The Perfume Shop in Bournemouth last year - don't quote me on that price as I did purchase the bottle over a year ago. As the more popular perfumes tend to be on the more pricey side, I would suggest hunting early and seeing what you can pick up in the Black Friday deals in your local stores or on Amazon.

A lot of women love their make sets. While I'm not a fan of buying make up for others, I am aware that most women a love a make set in their stash of presents each Christmas. I think for me, buying make up for others would be too awkward in case I picked up the wrong shades or something. Unless your receiver has already specified the exact shade and brand and everything else, then this would be a great gift.

Alcohol. You just can't go wrong with a good bottle of rose. Or whatever your woman's go-to drink is. Bailey's also do a range of different flavours. I got my mum a coffee flavoured Bailey's last year which went down a treat!

I feel I should add in chocolate to this list but I also feel that could be a last choice option for the bottom of the list. Chocolate tends to be quite the popular choice for gifts for friends or Secret Santa. There's been more than a few years where Sj and I have gifted one another with some form of chocolate. Have a look at Amazons variety of chocolate hampers!

You can't go wrong with fluffy socks, nail varnish and face masks as stocking fillers. I personally love my fluffy socks! I have so many pairs, I wish I could wear them more often!

Candles. You can find lovely Christmas scented candles all over the place. I literally spent 10/15 minutes just smelling candles with Cat on Saturday - the only reason we stopped was because I realised the time and had to head off to work! I also picked up a Yankee Candle called Snow Love the other day which smells incredible!

If you're still not sure, take your pick at a voucher for one of her favourite stores, treat her to a spa day or tell her you'll take her shopping, carry her bags and foot the bill for the day. Let's face it, that last option would never be turned down!

Charlotte.
